Naturally price will be a consideration when choosing a provider. You may find though, not all temporary staff agencies quote on the same basis. By way of example, the hourly rate that we both agree, is all you pay. This means that it's Horizon who takes care of its Temp Employees holiday pay, non worked public holiday pay, sick and bereavement leave, special leave, PAYE tax, ACC levies, compulsory employers Kiwisaver contributions, any bonuses or discretionary payments, payroll administration and the cost of staff acquisition, retention and management.
While some agencies may operate on higher margins, rates can also vary due to the differences in the calibre of person that each agency considers most suitable to fulfil a given position.
